Website generation and deployment
Build, preview, verify, and publish a static website to a ToolkitFun hosted URL.
One deployment workflow
Describe the site, upload a project, or import a GitHub repository. ToolkitFun builds, previews, checks, and publishes immutable versions.
Agent / upload / GitHub → website.build → website.preview → website.qa → website.publish
For agents
POST /api/v1/websites POST /api/v1/websites/:id/deploy GET /api/v1/workflow-runs/:workflowRunId GET /api/v1/workflow-runs/:workflowRunId/tasks Use Authorization: Bearer <token> and a stable Idempotency-Key. The deploy response only acknowledges the queued run; poll until it reaches a terminal status. It publishes automatically after QA.
How it works
- Create a website resource
- Submit files to the deployment workflow
- Open the preview and verify it
- Publish or roll back a version
Boundaries
- The current version targets static websites and URLs are provided by the configured hosting provider
- Dynamic backends, databases, and custom domains require separate deployment or configuration
- Source builds depend on WEBSITE_BUILD_ENABLED; build and QA must pass before publishing
